This Spiritual Retreat makes that time and focus, front and center, and gives you the protected space for that dedicated time, without interruptions.
This retreat is a time to connect with God, very intently, to talk to God, and mostly, to Listen to what He will speak to you, about your life, your situation, decisions, goals, plans and dreams,
His plans for your life, His revelation.
This retreat will be protective of that space!
It will provide you many empowerment experiences, and move you into a deeper relationship with the Lord, as you are basking in His presence, worship, prayer and feel His presence in each experience.
Allowing God to speak to you, allowing His voice to be louder than anything or anyone else around you.
Who will be your guide in this experience:
Giselle Salom has been empowering others long before she realized it was part of her calling— It’s simply in her nature. She loves the Lord fiercely and loves His people. Her passion for sharing the word of God has taken her across the globe, where she joyfully ministers wherever she goes. Giselle loves ministering and helping others break through what is holding them back, guiding them to connect with the gifts God has deposited within our Root when He made us in our mother’s womb.
Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Giselle is able
to reach and impact a diverse range of people.
Giselle is the President of Root Empowerment Ministry and an ordained Pastor and Minister. She loves sharing the love of God and His words as He leads.
Tammy De Wet
Tammy De Wet has a deep passion for creativity, constantly exploring various artistic techniques and inspiring others to discover their own creative expression.
Her love for art extends beyond traditional mediums, as she has also cultivated her creativity as Master Gardener in landscaping.
As an ordained Pastor and Minister, Tammy is dedicated to serving others with compassion and wisdom. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Root Empowerment Ministry, where she continues to guide and empower those she encounters on their spiritual journey.

The Women’s Spiritual Retreat will be held from:
Friday, July 11-13, 2025 with an estimated arrival time of 4:45 pm.
Add a day if you’d like more time and come on Thursday!
Please note space is limited! REGISTER NOW.
Each participant will have their own bed.
We will have exclusive use of the property during this time and be able to enjoy the many relaxing features and nature filled spaces, prayer walks through the property and a tranquil atmosphere in The Lord’s presence.
The location will be approximately 1 hour from Plano, TX.
The cost per person is $329 and includes all meals.

Add a Day Option – This is a great way to enjoy an additional day of relaxation. Come a day earlier, on Thursday. Choose this time for you! Add an additional day – cost $35.
All linens and towels are provided. You will receive a helpful list of suggested items to remind you of your favorite bible, journal, fluffy blanket, and snacks.
What can I expect from this experience? How is this experience different from other retreats?
This retreat is designed to provide you that close time with God, to Listen to Him. It's a bit different than other retreats where there is a lot of talking.
We encourage an environment with leading and prompting questions for you to press into the Lord.
The weekend is carefully planned and structured around protecting your time with the Lord, and being able to go as deep as you would like. The silence amongst the participants is for us to focus upward, and listen to God.
There will be several prompting questions ahead of the weekend, to help you start honing in on what you will seek the Lord about in this time.
experiential Moments
The Holy Spirit always brings creative experiential moments for us to connect with God's revelation and connection of His word into our lives.
These are Holy Spirit breathed and to bring you deeper into His presence.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3
The approach is rooted in the bible … a time to keep silence (Ecclesiastes 3:7) and just like Jesus did, go off and pray alone and talk to our Father.
The goal is to create an atmosphere to give you an experience of God’s voice transforming your relationship with Him into something even deeper and closer to God’s truth.
We are aware that you will be arriving from a drive, flights, or traffic on your way to the retreat location. As you arrive you will notice there is an environment created to transition from all the busy you left behind and shift to focus your attention on God, and start talking, or mostly hearing from Him.
To eliminate distractions you will be asked to put away your cell phone and other electronic devices and distractions during the weekend and asked to unplug from social media as well to dedicate the time fully to the Lord.
What are we doing?
The goal is to allow His presence to guide you. We will have worship which is designed to create an atmosphere of entering into His presence so your one-on-one time with Him already starts when you arrive. Engage in that experience fully, be free to dance, be on your face, or still as the Holy Spirit leads you.
Preparation - What should I do to prepare for the weekend?
You will be asked to focus and identify 2-3 things maximum you would like to go deep on with the Lord. You will decide what you will focus on. Come with expectations of what God will reveal to you, an open heart, and welcoming that God has His best for you. He sees you! Being intentional will help you focus, be ready, and expecting His presence in your spirit so you can get the most out of this experience. Come as rested as possible so you can fully dive in, wake up early and thoroughly enjoy your time with Him. Stay in the silence as much as possible so your communication with Him can be the main event! Join us in our prayers for you, that God would reveal himself in ways that would be transformative for you.
What should I bring with me to the retreat?
Please bring toiletries, a blanket you can use to lay down on the grass or anywhere and comfortable clothing. Bring a notebook or journal, pens, and your bible. Other items you may want to bring: snacks, flashlight, bug spray, sunscreen, hat, sweater. Water bottles will be provided.
